SympTracker 1.1 is an updated version of the recently released medical app that enables people with cold sores to map and better manage their condition. The application is free. SympTracker helps identify patterns including common triggers, locations, severity, duration of episodes. It pinpoints which treatments have worked best and if certain preventive measures are effective. One must have iTunes installed with an active iTunes account in order to download and install the software.

SympTracker lets users record the details of each occurrence, the location, symptoms of each episode, the factors that may have triggered an incident, and any treatment programs undertaken.
